Photo quotes

I nearly didn’t post today, it’s been a long one and I’m tired. But I’ve been playing around with photo quotes to add to my Facebook page so thought I’d just share that. I used a combination of Tadaa and Typorama, both photo editing apps on iPhone. Not everyone enjoys a quote, but I like to read them on Facebook. I think they give a little insight into people’s life philosophies, what their priorities are or how they are feeling at any given moment in time. I also just like playing around with photos! Here’s the one I have been playing with tonight:

It doesn’t come out so crisply in the blog as the image is optimised for Facebook so I hope you can still read it. The quote sums up perfectly what I hope my girls will get out of a home education.

“Whatever an education is, it should make you a unique individual, not a conformist; it should furnish you with an original spirit with which to tackle the big challenges”

So tell me the best part of learning at home? Where do you get most of your ideas?

The best part is undoubtedly the flexibility to head to the park or beach or stream whenever the mood strikes or the weather allows; to have pyjama days if anyone feels under the weather; to follow hobbies, passions and interests in any way we like; to enjoy learning rather than have it become a chore! I get pretty much all my ideas from HE facebook pages, Pinterest and inspirational blogs. I’m going to add a page to my site with my favourite blogs/website.

  2. Good for you, Vicki! You kept going and published your blog post. P.S. I love FB quotes too, and for the same reasons. 🙂

Thanks Jennifer, sorry for late reply but your comment had gone into the spam folder for some reason! I had to miss a day yesterday as just ran out of time but still want to keep going with the challenge!

I love your photo quotes and how you put your website address on your photos too, it looks really professional and gives copyright for your images I’m guessing.
